I love this topic and it’s one I’ve given a lot of thought to over the years. Another fascinating corollary to this is thinking in images rather than words. Visual thinking breaks the bond between thinking and language that Sapir and Whorf proposed. With visual thinking the possibilities are almost limitless but they are, unfortunately, more difficult to convey to other human beings. There have often been times when an idea has flashed into my head as an image but then I think, how am I ever going to explain this to anyone else?
